Instead of the council backing hair-brained, limited-use schemes that get little real use, perhaps it would be sensible to go back to basics.
Have Arun District Council actually looked at the toilet facilities in and around the sea front?

So, instead of spending cash on items of little interest to the majority of people, I implore them, again, to go back to basics and focus on the things that people will make use of.
If you go to the West Country, the main resorts have attended loos and have won plenty of awards, too. Not only would this concept help to enhance Littlehampton, but it would also give employment in the town a boost, too.
