Pupils choose books to restock library thanks to donation
With a healthy donation of £1,000 from the Home School Association and a generous discount from Waterstones, over 200 children made their way to their local store to browse and choose books to restock the school library.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience with several commenting that ‘it was great that everyone got to choose a book themselves instead of other people choosing for us.’

Others said ‘it was nice to buy a book you could see first,’ but the most common comment was how much they enjoyed looking at books together, sharing their favourites and choosing from such a wide selection, an experience you certainly don’t get online.
