Students shave heads in support of fellow pupil
The Seven Cranleigh pupils shaved their heads in support of a fellow pupil who has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer known as neuroendocrine carcinoma.
Individuals taking part in Macmillan’s ‘Brave the Shave’ raise money by asking others to sponsor them in shaving their full head of hair, showing support and standing proudly alongside those whose lives have been affected by cancer and its treatment.

Hide AdThe idea for the Cranleigh pupils to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support came about as their classmate is being treated at the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre in London.
The initial fundraising target was £2,000; a figure which has now been blown out of the water thanks to generous donations from a variety of people, with the funds raised now totalling more than £4,500.
The group are now looking to raise even more to support the fight against cancer and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
