What a great idea, tiddely- om-pom-pom!
It doesn't seem so long ago that every self-respecting seaside town sported its own bandstand, some of which are iconic works of art, besides being a focal point for residents and visitors to enjoy a little light music on a Sunday afternoon.
With 2012 looming and all things British soon being in the general spotlight, what better way to spend some money on something enduring, attractive and worthwhile?
There might even be a little left over for a bench. . .
