More trees need to be planted

I am not keen on more and more tarmac and fields/trees being destroyed by new roads and house building but I have to say I was thrilled to see that thought and consideration has been given to the planting up of this junction - and I also believe of those verges along the new Link Roadway, with wild flowers and grasses to encourage wildlife, bees and butterflies and other insects. Thank you for this and hopefully they should soon be a mass of colour just like all wildflower meadows should be.
I also hope more trees will be planted next to the road way as very sadly, so many trees were destroyed alongside this development – many of which along the Crowhurst Road in particular did not need to go as they were no where near to the new road.

We must all do what we can to protect our wildlife and green spaces for all our benefit and those of future generations. We need bees to survive and open fields and trees to ‘breathe’.
