Path is perilous for the elderly

An official from the highways department came to look at the pavement outside the centre.
There are places where the tarmac has worn away, the path has become uneven and the curb also needs attention. We were told that the condition of the path was not bad enough to be repaired.

This person did not seem to take into consideration the effect of a fall could have on the people who attend this centre which is open 365 days a year. These old people are aged 60 to over 90. If any one of these had a fall because of the state the this path the consequences do no bear thinking about
Pull you finger out and repair this path and avoid a lot of possible pain to the people and a very expensive bill for compensation, to say nothing of the additional cost to the NHS.
I attend IBC twice a week. I am a stroke victim and am paralysed down my right side.
