Dogs Trust Shoreham dog of the week: Meet Baron, a sensitive German shepherd in need of support
and live on Freeview channel 276
Baron is a sensitive dog, so a gentle approach with plenty of treats is needed when beginning to build a friendship.
Staff at Dogs Trust Shoreham, the charity’s rehoming centre for Sussex, say patience will pay off as Baron makes wonderful company once a trusting bond has been formed.

Baron equally appreciates his independence and the opportunity to settle down on his own. He is housetrained and good at being left for a few hours.
A family where the youngest members, and any visitors, are at least 14 years old is needed.
Uncomfortable in the presence of other dogs, Baron would prefer walks in quiet areas and will need to be the only pet at home. A garden is essential, so he can enjoy a daily, off-lead run about.

The rehoming centre in Brighton Road is currently closed but people can still apply for dogs and the charity can start the adoption process. Visit www.dogstrust.org.uk/ for more information.
