Cllr Kim Forward, leader of the council, said: “The council supports the Black Lives Matter movement, and all those across the world who are raising awareness of racial injustices.
“We have seen those locally in Hastings who have been supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, and we want you to know that we stand with you.

“The museum is looking commission three to four responses from local black and minority ethnic people to the death of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter Movement.
“The response can be in any format - written, video, artwork, anything you can think of.”
Anyone interested should email [email protected] with the type of response they would like to make and their hourly rate/fee for doing so.
