Hide AdA recreation of the recent work done on St Giles steeple by Peter Harknett who retired after he finished work on it.
Kay MacNaughton, co-chair of the PTA, said: “On behalf of the Friends of St Giles (PTA) we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the competition.
“As usual, the standard of the entries was incredible.
“The secret judges had a difficult job deciding who should win the trophy and top prize, with rosettes to sixth place and generous voucher prizes donated by Wolfox and The Entertainer in Haywards Heath.
“There was a great turnout of scarecrows built by residents and placed in their gardens for the entertainment of all the villagers.
