Eastbourne is a dog-loving town and although there was an increase nationwide of animals being adopted, there are still many waiting for a new home. Here are the 13 dogs with the RSPCA who are closest to Eastbourne and available for re-homing.

Rooney is a nine-year-old male Shar Pei at RSPCA's Brighton branch. RSPCA say Rooney is a sweet, friendly dog who can be very affectionate although he is wary of some people to begin with. SUS-210331-131551001

Jessie is a seven-year-old female boxer cross from RSPCA's Brighton branch. The RSPCA say Jessie is sweet and friendlt but can be shy with new people. SUS-210331-132346001

Rocco is a two-year-old male cross breed at the RSPCA's Brighton base. The RSPCA say Rocco is a very friendly and affectionate dog who is also housetrained. SUS-210331-133011001
