Natasha Angus, Jemelia’s mum, said: “Jemelia has always loved dancing and acting from a young age. We were so excited when she got the role of Zadie and absolutely busting with pride.
“We lived the high life filming in London. Jemelia had her own chauffeur, called Keith, who we have become very good friends with as he's such a character. We stayed in the top hotels, working along side an Incredible cast and crew who made us feel so special. We also had plenty of laughs and have kept in touch with many.
“We are hoping that this film will bring Jemelia more work to continue her dream of acting. Jemelia’s nan, Pauline just can't believe what is happening and is super proud of her granddaughter. Jemelia’s brother, Jarvis is her top fan and always encourages Jemelia with everything she does.
