“My walk is organised through Ultra Challenge and I will be walking from Minehead to Dawlish which will be a real test for my body.
She added: “Please give what you can to this amazing charity.”
CRPS is a chronic pain condition which results in distorted sensations, discolouration, swelling, unexplained extreme pain to non painful stimuli, extreme allodynia (sensitivity), loss of function in the affected limb which leads to muscle wastage as well as many other symptoms.

“It took a year for a doctors, consultants and physiotherapists to diagnose me with CRPS. The condition spread to my left leg and I became dependent on the use of crutches and a wheelchair along with many household adaptions to maintain my mobility and independence.
“In 2018 I had spinal cord stimulator surgery which changed my life for the better and reduced the pain by half resulting in being able to gain strength in my leg, hand and arm and eventually being able to walk unaided and being able to pick objects up with my hand and write with a pen again.
“I have since returned to my veterinary nursing career full time and am so grateful to all the surgeons at St Thomas’ Hospital in London for giving me another opportunity to live a normal life.”
Jenny hopes to raise £500, and donations can be made at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/jennyoborne
