Just days after a swarm was removed by beekeepers, two new hordes of honey bees were discovered at Lancing Manor Park.
Keith Stainer, who took pictures of the first invasion, said he saw the new swarms near the same park bench and also at the Lancing Bowls Club where he is a member.

Keith said: “Where they’ve come from, nobody knows. There’s a possibility that there may be a local beekeeper that has lost a few. “I wouldn’t call it a nuisance, but any parents with young children would probably feel differently. But the council have done what they can, and members of the bowling club and I will be keeping the beekeeper informed if it happens again.”
