Police advice follows Bognor burglaries
Offences at homes took place in Aldwick and Pagham overnight on January 2 and 3.
Around the same time two business premises were also burgled and cash was stolen.

Hide AdHomes in Bognor’s Pevensey and Marine wards have also suffered recent break-ins.
Most of these have occurred during the day and items such as laptops, alcohol and jewellery are being stolen.
In response to the incidents officers have issued further security advice.
All external doors should have three locking points. Mortice locks will add considerable strength to your door - you can buy them at your local DIY store.

Hide AdPatio doors should have special locks fitted to the top and bottom - ask your DIY store for advice.
Keep garden sheds and garages locked and think about using a battery-operated alarm.
Don’t leave window and door keys in their locks.
Use timers for lights and radios if you will be out of the house overnight. They create the impression that someone is at home.
Mark your belongings with a property-marking product, make a note of serial numbers and take photos of valuables.
