Police find deer who went off in ‘a hoof’
Although clues to Rudolph’s whereabouts were left by a ‘well wisher’, it took detective work by the police to track him down.
The naughty reindeer with a wobbly antler went missing from The Brow medical centre in Burgess Hill a month ago after being locked in a cupboard for most of the year with other Christmas decorations.

This year, his break for freedom caused panic and heartache, even though a mysterious “well wisher” reported several sightings of him in and around the town.
The break-through came on Monday, December 23 when police officers apprehended him loitering near the skate park. They brought him back to the surgery just in time to help Santa deliver his presents.
The Brow’s receptionist, Nicky Keig-Shevlin said: “We all missed him and we’re so relieved to have him back!”
