Police identify man found dead at Birling Gap steps
Police have formally identified a man who was sadly found dead at Birling Gap.

Emergency services were called to the famous beauty spot at 8.15am on Thursday, November 8, after a man’s body was discovered at the steps.
Sussex Police say he was 33-year-old Christopher Lambert of Croxden Way, Eastbourne.

Hide AdThe death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter was passed to the Coroners Officer, a police spokesperson said.
Next of kin have been informed, they said.
