Police parking blitz nabs 77
They said it was prompted by a number of complaints from members of the public.
The operation was lead by PC Alex Sim, the Neighbourhood Specialist constable with responsibility for the town.

Hide AdIn total 77 parking tickets were issued, the majority of which were for the abuse of the two-hour waiting spaces.
Chief Inspector Steve Brookman, district commander for Rother said: "I am pleased with the results of this day of action.
"For a long time now I have received complaints concerning the parking situation in Bexhill.
"I recently commissioned a review of parking in the town centre which revealed that parking could be better enforced.
"I have responded to public concern.
"Drivers need to be aware that this enforcement will continue.
"There is plenty of free parking in Bexhill and I would encourage people to use these."
