Will Labour keep its majority
Labour is currently the largest party with 18 seats, compared to 12 for the Conservatives and two Greens. The magic number is 17 for a majority. Were Labour to lose even two of its seats, it would throw the council into no overall control. Even if this scenario happened Labour would still likely be the largest party.
Last year it lost seats, with the Greens gaining their first seat. A second came by the way of a defection. Could the party make further inroads this year?
