Henry Smith arrives at Crawley count and renews call for new hospital
Henry said he felt he had been unfairly criticised in the past over his calls for a new hospital for the town - an issue which was discussed prior to the 2010 election but has never materialised.
He added: “It’s something in my five years in Parliament I’ve consistently raised. Ultimately I think we need a new hospital for Crawley but that’s not going to happen quickly.”

He said: “People have been passionate about the issues and all of this is music to some one who has polled for the democratic process.
“I think there has been such a broad range of issues on this campaign. It’s not just about immigration or the NHS or the economy.
“It’s been about a broad basket of issues and every door you knock on a different issue is raised.”
