Pupils' pumpkins light up disco
Children from Upper Beeding Primary School took part in the school’s first pumpkin carving competition.
All entries were then displayed at the disco, on October 18, and helped to create a wonderfully spooky atmosphere.

Hide AdChildren and parents danced to Hallowe’en classics before the winners were presented with a ghoulish goody bag.
The carving winners were: reception, Alice King; year one, Lenny Higgins; year two, Jack Berry; year three, Alf Phillipps; year four, Paris Kenward; year five, Lizzie Cowan; year six, Charlie Carne.
The event, organised by Friends of Upper Beeding School, raised £500 for the school.
