Christmas Market On the 3rd December there is Robertsbridge Saturday Christmas Market at Robertsbridge Hall from 10am to 12noon. Lots of local produce vegetables, home baking, cakes, fresh meat, pet food and many interesting craft stalls. Meet your friends here for refreshments.
Services this week: Sunday December 4th, Advent 2, is 11am Family Communion at St Mary’s, Salehurst. On Wednesday, December 7th there is the regular monthly Holy Communion at 11am in the Mission Room, Fair Lane.

Hide AdWith Christmas almost upon us there are extra services and carol concerts at both St Mary’s and at Holy Trinity Hurst Green. The details are already in The Villager and you may have already spotted the ‘deliberate’ mistakes in the magazine. In case you’re confused Christmas Eve is still on December 24th and Christmas Day on the 25th.......we’re not messing with these dates!
Thanks to everyone who organised, helped at or supported the Christmas Market last Saturday. A magnificent £2,459 was raised on the day and particular thanks go to Elspeth Howell who co-ordinated the event.
FRIDAY DARTS: We played away at Mountfield Club’ B’ last week and won the single darts 6-1 with victories for Pete Giles, Guy Ballard, Gary Honeysett, Andy York, Dave Goodsell and Coral Giles while the Mens Pairs of Guy/Andy won 2-0, Mixed Pairs of Nic Breslin/Pete won 2-0 as did Coral/Nic in the Ladies Pairs. There were 100+ scores for Pete[140 x 2, 100 x 4], Gary[140], Guy[130, 112 checkout, 100], Dave[125] and Kevin Dixon[100]. We won pushpenny 3-2 with wins for Ted Goldfinch, Gary Honeysett and Coral Giles with Gary and Dave Goodsell both scoring ‘goldwatches’. Tonight we are again at Mountfield Club against The Old King John in the Jubilee Cup Knockout 8p.m.
