Sea life-themed hospital sensory room has brought joy to children
Around 500 children have now benefited from the unique room located in the Level 10 play area at the hospital.
The UK’s first official sea life-themed sensory room is fitted with interactive lighting, an effects projector and a bubble screen to create an under-the-sea multi-sensory experience.

Hide AdAmy Farmer, play specialist at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, said: “We’re incredibly happy with the sensory room.
“It’s wonderful to see patients and their families benefitting from the area - especially the smiles on parents’ faces when their little ones are engaging with the equipment.
“The room has created a positive impact and we look forward to seeing countless more children engaging in the area for many years to come.”
Sea Life Brighton is open from 10am every day apart from Christmas Day.
