St Michael's CEOto retire in 2017
Following the announcement Irene Dibben, Chair of the Board of Trustees, paid tribute to Ms Pyke-Lees career which she says demonstrated commitment to the ethos of St Michael’s Hospice and the wider Hospice Movement. “Celia has been a wonderful leader of St Michael’s Hospice for the past 12 years and it has been a pleasure to work with her in my role as Chair of the Board of Trustees,” she said. “She has achieved a great deal over the years, including most recently the rebuild of the Hospice following the fire in 2015.
“Celia is a great role model and inspiration for all of us who work and volunteer for the Hospice. The Trustees are all deeply grateful for all Celia has done for the Hospice and we shall all be very sorry to see her go. However, I am extremely happy for her and wish her all the best for a long and happy retirement.’

Hide AdMs Pyke-Less said: “Now that our In-Patients have returned to the Hospice, I feel in a position to put my own plans in place and look to the future.
“I have loved working with all the fantastic staff and volunteers at the Hospice and I will be very sad to leave such a wonderful charity.”
Ms Dibben confirmed the Board of Trustees has commenced the process of recruiting and appointing a new Chief Executive.
