Steyning centre set to host Swimathon

Swimathon, the world’s biggest annual fundraising swim, is 30 years old this year, and Places for People Centres will be some of more than 600 venues around the UK celebrating this landmark by hosting a Swimathon event.
The 2017 event will take place over three days from April 7 to 9. As registration opens for the 2017 event, the total fundraising amount over the previous 29 years currently stands at £46 million, which has been distributed amongst 36 different charities

Hide AdAmong the centres taking part is Steyning Leisure Centre, which will host a Swimathon on Friday, April 7 from 7pm until 10pm.
The official charity of Swimathon 2017 is Marie Curie. Registration is now open for Swimathon 2017. Participants can enter to take part at any of the Places for People Leisure Centres through the Swimathon website. Swimathon.org/participants/register
The Pavilions In The Park in Horsham will also host a Swimathon on Saturday, April 8, from 6pm until 9pm, and Billingshurst Leisure Centre will host Swimathons on Saturday, April 8, from 5.15pm - 8.15pm and Sunday, April 9, from 2pm to 5pm.
