STREET MEETING TO BEAT CRIME
The meeting will be held outside a police van, which will be parked in Newhaven Town Centre opposite the post office.
The 'street consultation' will provide an opportunity for local residents to air their views about crime and anti social behaviour in and around Newhaven and to influence what happens in their areas. Representatives from Lewes District Council and Sussex Police will be available to explain the work the police and the local action team are involved in, including youth activities and community development.

People who are unable to attend the street consultation are urged to speak to neighbours who may be able to go along and raise issues on their behalf.
Lewes District Council has two anti-social behaviour co-ordinators, Louisa Young who covers Newhaven, Peacehaven, Telscombe and Seaford and Alistair Parkin, who covers Lewes and the rural areas. They can be contacted on 01273 484394 and 01273 484339 respectively.
