Sussex school fire update
Firefighters have spent much of the early hours of this morning (Thursday) tackling a blaze at a Sussex school.
Emergency services were called to Buckswood School in Guestling last night after reports a roof was on fire.
At the height of the incident, eight fire engines were in use and firefighters used sixteen breathing apparatus along with one in seven home and hose reel jets to tackle the flames.

Hide AdOperations were scaled back to four fire engines at 11pm and crews left the scene at 3.30am.
A spokesperson said, “A Level 2 fire investigation will take place today to establish the cause of the fire.”
