Sussex Spaniel record attempt
The Sussex Spaniel is a unique breed and the association achieved a record number of 73 in one place at the 2010 show, then named the Sussex Game and Country Fair.
Secretary Sheila Appleby said: “We found out in 2010 that the many people of Sussex county didn’t know they had their own rare breed of dog, i.e. the Sussex Spaniel.

This year will see another record attempt and already, the association has more than 100 dogs expected to attend.
Sheila added: “We we want this to be a huge success for our breed. Of course, we would love the people of Sussex with or without a Sussex Spaniel to come along and join us.”
The main parade will be on Sunday, June 19, at 2pm. The show takes place at Parham Park next Saturday and Sunday.
