Toddlers’ bonny Easter hats on parade in Pulborough nursery
At Pulborough Village Hall on Monday (March 31), the bonnets were judged and 18-month-old Zachary Constantinopoulos took first prize with a hat in the shape of a hen, surrounded by straw and chicks.
Team leader Stefanie Barnett said: “The level of standard on the hats was very high, the children all did amazing jobs.”

“It all started with a sermon on how as a church we could put ourselves within our community. This sparked an idea in my head that Pulborough needed another toddler group for the families of the local area,” said Stefanie.
Each session is centred around a story from the Bible. The children have free play for an hour and then snacks are served, followed by story and song time.
“We have around 40 children per week and we have been blessed with at least one new family every week since we opened.”
