TOO MANY DOGS NOT ENOUGH HOMES
Hastings Council's dog wardens have simply too many dogs in their care at the moment and they need to find homes for them.
The problem is that the council has space for just six dogs at any one time and they can't keep pace and move on dogs before more come in.

Rod Bridger, senior dog warden with the council, said good homes were desperately needed for the dogs in his care.
He said: "As soon as we are finished with one dog there is another one to pick up. Some are in very poor condition while others are really lovely dogs that just need homes."
