Tourism office closure gets the green light
Worthing borough councillors had voted to approve a report recommending the closure of the centre, as well as a management restructuring process, which would see around seven officers made redundant, before the new year.
But the decisions had to be authorised by cabinet members for resources at Worthing and Adur councils, Dan Humphreys and Angus Dunn.

The closure of the tourism office has caused controversy with some town centre traders, who set up a petition in a last-ditch attempt to save it.
It has gathered more than 100 signatures so far.
