Fire crew help remove casualty from Worthing house

A fire crew assisted the ambulance service by using an aerial ladder to remove a casualty from his home in Worthing this morning.
The crew was called to Cortis Avenue in Worthing at 7.10am, a fire service spokesman confirmed.
One male casualty was removed from the building by a crew using an aerial ladder platform before being conveyed to hospital, the spokesman said.
