'˜True role model' is marked in countrywide care report
Dorota (Dora) Woloszyn, deputy manager at Skylark House care home, has been recognised as a ‘leader of tomorrow’ by Care Home Professional leaders in care 2018.

Dora was appointed deputy manager at Skylark House in 2017, and has been praised for her dedication to providing excellent care and leading by example.
Dora said: “I am delighted to have been named a ‘leader of tomorrow’ by Care Home Professional.
“I enjoy making a difference to people’s lives and really care about the residents and team members at Skylark House, so to be recognised for my work is just fantastic.”

Hide AdShe is a dementia champion and works tirelessly to ensure residents have their voices heard and play an active part in life at the home, especially those who struggle to communicate.
She has also successfully devised grab and go folders, which contain details of residents’ medications, allergies, along with relative’s contact details, in case a resident needs emergency medical support.
This initiative has helped reduce stress for residents when on hospital visits.

After graduating in information technology, Dora realised her passion and talents were in the care industry after spending time supporting older people as a care assistant.
In 2016 she was appointed team leader at Care UK’s Skylark House, where her hard work and dedication has seen her progress to her current role as deputy manager.
Determined to help develop outstanding care services, Dora is currently taking part in the Care UK’s emerging leadership programme, after being recommended by her regional director.
