UPDATE: Man taken to hospital after car flips on roof in A24 crash

Emergency services were called to the collision, involving one vehicle, southbound near the Washington roundabout at 7.50am on Saturday (June 18).
A spokesman for the fire service said three crews from Worthing were sent to the scene after reports a man was trapped in the vehicle.

Hide AdFirefighters cut the man free and left him in the care of the ambulance service.
South East Coast Ambulance Service said two paramedic cars and an ambulance attended the incident.
A spokesman said the man suffered a leg injury and was treated at the scene.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital for further treatment.
The road was reduced to one lane whilst the incident was dealt with.
