Wealden up 5.12%
The council has increased its element of the council tax bill by 5.12 per cent, which is below the six per cent the Government assumed would be the minimum for local councils.
This brings the district council element of the tax for a Band D property to 130.30 an increase of 12p a week. Added to this is the amount to be levied by East Sussex County Council (930.43) and Sussex Police Authority (97.74). In addition is the amount being charged by individual town or parish councils.
