West Chiltington driver banned from roads

Nina Fowkes, 49, of Monkmead Lane, was arrested at 10.15pm on December 20 after officers stopped her for speeding in Thakeham Road, Storrington.
She pleaded guilty to drink-driving when she appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on January 5 and was banned from driving for a year as well as being told to pay a £91 fine and a £20 victim surcharge.

Hide AdIn a separate incident a man has also been banned from driving for three years after being caught drink-driving and driving without a licence in Fryern Road, Storrington, on December 20.
Luke Appleton, 26, who gave the court an address in Hove, pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence and driving a vehicle without an MOT when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on January 2.
He already had a previous conviction for drink-driving from 2010.
He was banned from driving for three years and told to pay a £700 fine, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
