Firefighters feared for people's safety as there was a risk acetylene cylinders on the premises might explode.

Today (Friday, December 4) after firefighters and Sussex Police re-assessed the risk, people living in Canterbury Road can return home.
Anyone still requiring advice or assistance on accommodation can contact Worthing Borough Council on 01903 239999 asking for the emergency planning office.
