John Morgan of Tennyson Road, disappeared from his home yesterday (Friday, February 22) afternoon at around 2pm. He left with a blue mobility scooter and police believe it is still with him now. Mr Morgan is described as around 5ft 7in tall, with white/grey hair. He was last seen wearing a woolly hat, blue jogging bottoms and a scruffy jumper. At one point Hotel 900, the Sussex Police helicopter, was going to be sent up to search for Mr Morgan, but the idea was called off when it was decided the search area was too wide.
