Captain Askew expects tough test against Wisborough

Wisborough, who were relegated from Sussex League Division 4 last season, kicked off their campaign with a winning draw against Eastergate at the weekend.
Askew’s side had it much easier, though, with their opening win of the season coming via a walkover success against Pulborough.

Hide AdThe Littlehampton captain knows things will be much more tricky on Saturday and said: “They came down from the Sussex League last season and will be up there come the end of the season.
“I recognise a few of the names in their team and we know it’s going to be difficult.
“We would have preferred to have played on Saturday but in the end we were handed a 30-point win.
“Time in the middle would have been better but we’ll just focus on Saturday and look to get another 30-point win.”
