Nash signs contract extension with Sussex
The 28-year-old, Cuckfield-born, top-order batsman scored nearly 2,000 runs in all formats in 2011, and was leading run-scorer in the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition, with his haul of 649 earning him the PCA CB40 Player of the Year Award.
He also hit 928 runs in 15 LV County Championship matches and 335 runs in the Sharks’ Friends Life t20 campaign.

Hide AdHis off-spin yielded 27 wickets across the three competitions and his impressive form this season earned him a call-up to the England Lions squad, in which he played three one-day matches against Sri Lanka A in August.
On his contract extension, Nash said: “I’m of course delighted to have signed an extension to my contract, as I have played here since I was seven years old so to still be here is something I am very proud of.
“With the players we have in our squad, our work ethic and the brilliant support we receive from everyone involved with Sussex, we are all excited about what we can achieve over the next few years.
“From a personal point of view I need to continue to score heavily in all forms to help Sussex win trophies and to push my claims for further honours. This is alongside the hard work I am putting in on my bowling to add further strength to my game.”
