Fontwell Park racecourse is simply the best
The seal of approval comes from the keenest followers of horse racing - the Racegoers Club of Great Britain - which has more than 6000 members who regularly attend race meetings across the country.
More than 1.5 million has been spent improving the facilities at Fontwell Park in the last five years including a new stable yard, parade ring, winners' enclosure, hospitality and bar facilities as well as a new main entrance.

Hide AdConstruction of a new 7.5m three-storey Grandstand in the Premier Enclosure is scheduled to start this summer with completion in October 2010.
Fontwell Park General Manager Phil Bell said:" We are delighted to have been given this award by the most regular visitors to racecourses in Britain. We are working hard to continually improve the facilities and customer experience at Fontwell Park. There are 22 fixtures at the West Sussex track in 2009 including seven Sundays, three evenings and a Saturday."

The next meeting is on Thursday January 22, when the fixture is sponsored by Crown Racing Bookmakers and the first race is at 1.20pm with the last at 4.20pm.
