Chichester’s back-line saw Richardson return alongside Starkey. For all their good play, Chichester failed to threaten – although Shrubb had a goal disallowed.

New girl Kally Ambler caused problems from the off, linking well with strike partner Lauren Ellis.

Hide AdA sloppy free-kick given away on the edge of the area led to Eastbourne taking the lead.
Jess Harnett replaced Ellis up front and hit a great shot from the edge of the area to make it 1-1 on 50 minutes then struck a screamer from 25 yards to make it 2-1.
Gabi Fisher delivered decent crosses and it was 3-1 when Ambler stole the ball and drove into the area to finish neatlyr.
Ambler rounded the keeper to get her second.
The reserves host Rottingdean at Oaklands Park on Sunday.
