The club announced in June it was basing its training activity at the Sikh Gurdwara and Community Sport Centre in Ifield Green, formally the site of Ifield Edwards FC.
One of the reasons for this was it was just ten minutes away from the Checkatrade Stadium, unlike their base last season which was at Ardingly College.

However Crawley are now having to use one of their previous training bases, Oakwood FC in Tinsley Lane, becuase of problems with the pitch at Ifield.
Speaking at the Fans’ Forum on Tuesday night head coach Dermot Drummy revealed they are using Oakwood because the grass has not taken at Ifield.
He said: “Unfortunately the pitches at the Sikh Temple could not cope with daily use.
