From Loxwood to Barcelona? They'll go miles for Mind
Chairman Mark Lacey explained what was behind the project.
“I was involved in a walk for Mind from Falmer to Fulham back in December and a lot of the lads donated. Lewis Westlake had the idea for this as he knew how hard the team were finding it mentally in these times.
“The squad and management have each other for support but others are not so lucky.

Players, management, coaches and Lacey himself will clock up the miles.
The chairman of the SCFL premier side, who told the County Times recently of his worries over how lockdown was affecting the mental health of those in football, added: “We wanted to help local people struggling with their mental health and Mind is a great charity working hard to raise funds to help people in the region - one day we all might need Mind for help.
“We have set a fundraising target of £2,500 – that’s roughly £100 per person, but whatever we raise is money they don’t have and need desperately.”
