Golds extend unbeaten run to six games with Storrington victory

LITTLEHAMPTON Football Club extended their unbeaten run to six games on Tuesday evening with a 3-1 win at home to Storrington.

The scoreline in the County League Division 2 game made the result look a lot closer than it actually was. In truth, Littlehampton should have won this game at a canter, but failed to make the most of some good opportunities to put the game beyond Swans.

Golds took the lead in the 19th minute when a weak shot from Alex Kew was not dealt with by the Swans defence and Jason Jarvis had the easiest of finishes from inside the six-yard box.
