Horsham boss Di Paola focusing on performances over results
The Hornets are currently on a five-match unbeaten run in all competitions, scoring 11 goals in the process.
This is in stark contrast to Horsham’s previous five games where they tasted victory just once – a 1-0 home win over struggling Corinthian-Casuals on January 11.

The Horsham manager said: “If you look at performances as opposed to results, wins are only a by-product of playing well.
“If I feel like we’re performing well I don’t worry about whether we win or lose.
“In December we could feel we had a bit of a dip in our performance and that was a concern.

“If we lose a couple of games but we’re still in it together and we’re performing, then there’s nothing to worry about.”
The Hornets’ 2-0 win over Cheshunt on Saturday extended their unbeaten BetVictor Isthmian Premier Division home streak to six.
But Di Paola admitted he wasn’t paying any great attention to Horsham’s imperious home form.

“We enjoy playing at home because we get good gates, the crowd’s good and it’s a great place to play football."
