Jahanbakhsh scores as Iran reach Asian Cup quarter-finals
Jahanbakhsh scored the opening goal on 32 minutes, before Ashkan Dejagah got the second nine minutes later. They will now meet China in the quarter-finals on Thursday.
The 25-year-old returned from a ten-week injury lay-off last week in Iran's final group game against Iraq.

Hide AdJahanbakhsh was Albion's club record signing when he signed from Dutch club AZ Alkmaar for a reported £17m fee last summer.
He has made 11 appearances this season but has not played for the Seagulls since the 3-1 defeat away to Everton at the beginning of November when he limped off with a hamstring injury late on.
If Iran get all the way to the final, Jahanbakhsh will miss Brighton's next three matches, against West Brom, Fulham and Watford.
Jahanbakhsh's Brighton team-mate Mathew Ryan will be in last 16 action with Australia tomorrow when the Socceroos play Uzbekistan.
