Job not done yet, says Kane
Back-to-back 1-0 wins over Herne Bay and Ramsgate mean the U’s are now two places and four points above the three relegation spots in Ryman League Division One South.
Third-bottom Ramsgate, however, have a game in hand and a favourable run-in. Three of their four remaining matches are at home and all of them are against teams outside the top nine.

With his team now up to 44 points from 43 games, Kane believes one more win from United’s final three fixtures should be enough and four points will certainly be sufficient.
“Probably one more win, but if I’m totally honest I would rather get three more draws than one win,” he added.
“I’ve maintained all along that 46 points should be enough based on the goal difference. We may need 47, but I think 48 will definitely be enough. There’s still going to be plenty of twists and turns.”
