Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer wishes Crawley Town ‘massive good luck’ in race to win League One promotion

The leader of the opposition, who visited Crawley yesterday (March 11), told this newspaper he would love to one day see the Reds play.
The team is currently 11th in League Two and have an outside change of making the play offs, with two games in hand compared to seventh place Bolton.

Member of Parliament for Holborn and St Pancras said he recognised how hard a time lower league clubs have had during the Covid pandemic.
Fans are currently barred from attending matches meaning clubs have lost income from gate money.
But the former director of public prosecutions wished Crawley Town ‘massive good luck’ for the play offs as they bid to reach League One.
He added: “[I would] love to see them get through and love to see them play.”
