“It’s always nice to get back-to-back wins in this league and we’ve managed that.
“Saturday’s game was far from easy and AFC Uckfield always looked dangerous.
“They have a couple of quality players in forward areas, so we knew we needed to defend well.

“Dave Herbert has been impressive since coming into the club and bagged another two on Saturday.
“That’s ten goals in his last eight league games for us now. He’s in impressive form and we have a number of strikers to choose from to play alongside him.”
Mullets could have taken a lead into the break but Alex Biggs saw an effort from the edge of the penalty area saved, before Herbert fired wide when well placed.

The points were all but secured with 15 minutes to play when Nicholson fired home a thunderous left-footed strike.
That goal knocked the stuffing out of Uckfield and Arundel managed to bag another with eight minutes left when Herbert notched his second.
The frontman so nearly made it a hat-trick with time running out but was thwarted by the Uckfield keeper.
