Reds players won't be distracted by club sale

News broke last weekend that Reds were in advanced talks with potential new owners - believed to be a consortium from overseas - and the club was close to being sold.
But with plenty of off-the-field headlines, Ashton and the players will not be getting involved or distracted.

Hide AdThe Crawley defender believes that any effect of a sale of the club will only be a positive things.
He said: “We are trying not to think about it really. Whatever happens, happens. We just have to look after ourselves as a team and look to prepare for the next game and get three points.
“If it happens and affects us, then I am sure it will be in a positive way, but at the moment we will look at the next game and prepare for that.
“We’ll leave all of that stuff to the people that make the decisions.
